so i'm giving some consideration to following in the footsteps of my dearest friend and using this journal to chronicle the progress of costume design and creation. as resident costumer, it has fallen to me to design the costumes for our halloween this year. i am -so- excited. i've designed both of our dresses, but i've only rendered angela's dress so far. i've been looking at some fan art for narcissa and bellatrix and i am shamed by the level of amazingness that is in their costumes. my renderings are crap.

but they'll at least remind me later of what i designed now.

i think, if i decide to keep writing on this blog, i'll make it more of a thought of the day sort of thing rather than a "here's what i did today" sort of thing. i don't like the idea of people reading about my life online.

i saw a mini-van today with spinners on it. trevor and i agreed that it was the silliest thing we'd seen since seeing a mini-van with a spoiler.
